Standard operating procedure for fleet integration.
Surface Preparation
Clean the application area with an alcohol wipe. For textured plastic or cast metal, use the abrasive pad to create a smooth 1" bonding surface. Zero grease is mandatory for the 10-year bond.
Hardware Bonding
Apply the High-Bond Tag with firm pressure for 30 seconds. Critical: Allow 2 hours of "cure time" before returning the tool to a jobsite or van rack.
App Sync & Entry
Launch the App and select "Add New Asset." Use the phone's camera to scan the tag. For each entry, we recommend capturing:
- Model & Serial Number
- Current Condition
- Assigned Crew/Van
Bulk Inventory Load
Processing 50+ tools? Use the Desktop Command Center to upload a CSV of your existing serial numbers. Once uploaded, simply walk the line with your phone to "Pair" each physical tag to the digital record in seconds.
The "Ghost-Tag" Strategy
Primary tags deter theft; Ghost-Tags catch thieves. Hide secondary ID markers inside battery housings or tool casings. If a thief grinds off the exterior tag, the internal marker proves ownership to law enforcement.
